Edinburgh, Scotland Day #3

On our third and final day in Scotland we hiked to the top of Arthur's Seat.  This is a short but fairly steep climb up a big hill that overlooks the city.  It is also the place where the land was dedicated for the preaching of the Gospel in Scotland!

Tyson was snuggled against Stephen in our baby carrier.  He slept the whole time.

The view was gorgeous!

That's the ocean behind us!

Poor Tyson missed out.  We thought he should be in at least one picture!

The hike was lovely!

Afterwards we walked along the royal mile, a popular road that goes from the Holyroodhouse Palace to the Castle of Edinburgh.

We stopped at the lovely St. Giles cathedral.

We hit up the National Gallery of Scotland.

I was thrilled to get a picture with a bagpipe player!

The old architecture in Edinburgh is so unique and lovely!
