London - last weekend

On Friday Stephen had a slow day at work and so Tyson and I caught the tube and met up with Stephen at his office.  We walked a short distance to the Transportation Museum (a history of public transportation in the UK).  It was really cool.  As we were walking to the museum we discovered London has our favorite restaurant from New York City!  It is called the Shake Shack.  So after the museum we went and ate at the Shake Shack.  Afterwards we enjoyed walking around and looking at lots of fun shops and listening to amazing street performers play their violins!

On Saturday we visited St. Paul's Cathedral.  It was humongous and amazing.  We didn't take the tour inside but plan to go back.  We walked across the Millenium Bridge and saw the London Bridge a ways off.  We then visited Tate Modern, a very, very modern art museum.  I enjoyed it moderately and Stephen didn't enjoy it at all. :)  After that we walked along the Thames River at dusk and saw the beautiful views across the river.  We found an Asian restaurant to eat at and got some good food.  What a fun weekend!
