Harrods and Hyde Park

During the week Tyson and I ventured out to check out the famous Harrods, a department store in London.  According to Wikipedia, the store occupies a 5-acre site and has over one million square feet of selling space in over 330 departments, making it the largest department store in all of Europe.  The inside was amazing.  It was definitely the most lavish and expensive store I have ever seen.  The pics below just don't do it justice!  Per recommendation, we went to a place within the store called Laudree's and I enjoyed the most delicious macarons ever created.  Afterwards we walked over to Hyde Park and enjoyed a lovely walk while Tyson was sound a sleep in the Ergo (our baby carrier).

All bundled up for our walk to Harrods.

Here we are in the handbag section of the store.

Fresh bouquets of flowers dotted the perfume section!

I was amazed when I walked into a humongous room filled with chocolate!  I'll have to go back and try some of it sometime!  This picture is just one of the many display cases of chocolate.

A view of the outside of the store.

Lovely Hyde Park.

I can't wait for all these trees to blossom!
