Young Women's Camp!

Young Women's camp was so much fun!!  I am so glad I got to be a leader for 21 beautiful girls!  It was so fun to get to know the girls and to do fun activities together.  We did everything from crafts to archery to hikes to canoeing!  We played fun games and stayed up late laughing and talking.  And of course we had some amazing classes from the stake leaders, a great fireside, and a wonderful testimony meeting.  I am amazed at the testimonies and the strength of the youth!  Below are some pictures.

The girls had a great time canoeing on the lake.  Unfortunately they were not allowed to swim because the lake was infested with poisonous water mocassin snakes!

The girls put on a skit for the other wards.  It included sailors on a journey towards a lighthouse, with temptations from the waves, the mermaids, and the pirates!

We made cute bracelets in crafts.  The girls also made flower headbands, bracelets, hair wraps,  and key chains.  They also made blankets which they donated to a local hospital.

We watched a water mocassin snake attempt to swallow a humongous fish whole.  After 20 minutes or so it finally gave up.
