I have some wonderful words to say: I DID IT!!! I finished the school year. There were many days when I thought I'd never make it. I give 100% of the credit to Stephen who pushed me through every time I decided it was time for me to quit (which happened at least once a week).
Now I don't want it to sound like I have an awful job. I have a great job!!! I loved the children and I loved helping them with their speech. I had wonderful supervisors and mentors who taught me a lot and who encouraged me along the way. I simply found that working full-time was a much bigger adjustment for me than I expected. I finally feel like I'm starting to adjust though (now that school is ending), so I think the fall will be much better now that I know what it's like to work and what to expect. I actually found it really hard to say goodbye to the kids. I will miss them, especially those I will probably never see again (as I have requested a change from one of my schools in order to have a shorter commute). I'm grateful to be employed, and grateful to have a wonderful job. I'm also grateful to have the summer off! This picture is my Yay for Summer!!! pose. :)
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!
