We went camping with Brandon and Shannon in Provo Canyon on Friday, July 9th. Shannon and Brandon found a beautiful camping location that overlooked Provo valley! We made foil dinners, applesauce pies, and delicious s'mores. We unexpectedly got caught in a thunder and lightning storm that night, which made for quite an adventure, but it passed quickly. The next morning we made pancakes and oatmeal. We then had lots of fun biking through the beautiful mountains. That afternoon we met up with Ryan and Dani to go tubing down the Provo River. The sky clouded over for a portion of the river ride, which got pretty cold, but we had a great time. The sun eventually came back through the clouds and it was sunny and hot by the last part of the river ride.
