Week #2 in London!

We had a wonderful week here in London!  Tyson and I enjoyed exploring the neighborhood we live in a little bit more.  On Monday we walked to Hyde Park and met up with Stephen there after work.  We enjoyed walking around and seeing the park.  On Wednesday Tyson and I visited the Natural History Museum.  We have three of London’s best museums just a ten-minute walk away.  Tyson was a great sport about walking around the museum and I think he enjoyed looking at everything as much as I did.  On Saturday the three of us caught the tube (the subway) and went to see Stephen’s office in Westminster.  We also stopped off at a park to eat lunch.  Afterwards we walked across a bridge over the Thames River to go to the London Eye, which is a big ferris wheel on the river.  We didn’t end up riding it because the line was too long, but we plan to go back.  In the meantime we enjoyed seeing all the street performers all along the river.  Afterwards we walked over to Trafalgar Square and took a look at the National Gallery (an art museum).  It was a great day!

Here we are walking around Hyde Park.

This little lake is at Hyde Park.

Tyson is so cute!  We have so much fun together.

Stephen in front of his office.  You can see the Bain red through the windows.

Here we are walking across the bridge over the Thames River.

On the bridge again.

It was exciting to see Big Ben in person.  The building next to it is the parliament building.

Here we are in Trafalgar Square in front of the National Gallery.

London telephone booths!

Taking the tube.

This is the park where we ate lunch.
What an adventure we are on!  We are so thrilled to be here!
