Shara's Trip to Pennsylvania

On October 1st Tyson and I flew to State College, Pennsylvania to visit Tara and Dane and their three children.  Tara and Dane moved to Pennsylvania last summer after Dane accepted a job as an accounting professor at Penn State.  It was wonderful to see where Tara and Dane live (in a beautiful wooded area) and especially wonderful to spend time with their family.  Tyson and I got to meet little Ryzen for the first time, who is only four days younger than Tyson.  Thanks Tara and Dane for such a great trip!

We did lots of fun things together.  Here we are at the arboretum at Penn State.

We visited Dane at his office.

We got delicious shakes at the Penn State Creamery.  As you can tell, Tyson was very interested in my "Death by Chocolate" shake.

We put the two cousins in matching outfits.

We visited a fun park and fed the ducks.  This is Tara's 3-year-old Zade.

We put the two boys in the swings.  Ryzen did great, but we realized Tyson was not quite strong enough for it yet.

I really enjoyed taking Dane and Tara's family photos with our new camera.  We had to take about 100 pics to get this one, but we're glad we got one they liked!

This is Tara's darling 5-year-old Aria.  She just started kindergarten.

We visited a lovely state park and walked around the lake.

I realized after we took this picture that Tyson had lost his sock. :)  Fortunately we found it by the stroller.

We visited another place that is like a small Park City.  Tyson looked pretty stylin' in his sunglasses.

It got pretty cold during my last few days in PA, so we had to bundle the boys up when we took Aria to the bus stop.  They weren't quite sure if they liked those snowsuits!
