4th of July Fun!

Happy 4th of July!  We participated in lots of fun 4th of July celebrations!  On July 3rd we went to a great fireworks show.  On the morning of the 4th we went to a community parade in our suburb of Coppell.  After the parade we went and got breakfast at La Madeline, a French cafe.  That evening we had three couples over for pizza and games.  It was lots of fun!  To top it all off, that evening we climbed a hill at the golf course by our complex (the only hill I know of in Dallas) and were able to see fireworks going off in seven different locations.  What a fun day!

Fireworks on July 3rd.

Here we are ready for the parade to start.

The white flag is the flag/logo for the city of Coppell.

Lots of local groups were in the parade - like this karate studio.

Stephen was a trooper to go to the parade with a great attitude - he's not much of a parade person.

Delicious crepes at La Madeleine - I guess it would have been more patriotic to go somewhere like Denny's.

I got French toast covered in fruit.

Our friends Matt, Laura, Jesse, and Danielle - such great people live here in Texas!

Our friends John and Liz.  We're grateful to be in such a young ward where we can meet lots of young couples.
