We're Getting Married!

Welcome to the blog of Stephen and Shara!
Stephen and I met each other in the fall of 2007. A series of events lead up to our meeting... I went on a study abroad with Stephen's brother-in-law's sister, she sent a photo of me and her to Stephen's family, Stephen returned home from his mission and found my photo on his fridge, his mom signed him up to live at Manavu Apartments in Provo, he ended up on the activities committee in his new ward, and his roommate was my home teacher. For me, I decided to sell my apartment contract and switch to a new apartment complex shortly before school began and was called to be the co-chair of the activities committee. All these events put Stephen and I one block from each other, in the same ward, on the same activities committee, and left Stephen profoundly interested in me. :) My interest in Stephen came when he unexpectedly brought me soup, tissues, and cough drops in early October when I caught a cold.
Stephen and I spent about two wonderful years getting to know each other, and in late September of 2009 we finally decided to get married! On October 8th Stephen proposed and of course I said yes! We will be getting married December 29th and our reception will be on December 30th. We took our engagement photos and will post those soon. We are excited for our future together and will post updates on all the exciting events coming up!
